How To Force Fumbles – Madden 23 Beginner Defense
Madden 23 | Beginner Defense Tips
Everyone else has been lying to you. “Just click up on the right analog to go for the hitstick.”
Yeah… hitstick fumbles are a myth. If you believe in Santa Clause and the tooth fairy though, continue to go for hit stick fumbles.
If you live in a reality where the Earth is round, listen closely to what I say next.
How To Force Fumbles in Madden 23:
- Await for the ball carrier to be in arm’s length
- Click on the nearest defender and STRIP (Rb on Xbox, R1 on Playstation)
You have a 1 out of 15 chance of forcing a fumble with this method.
Or as “VGR” said in their article “How To Hitstick And Force A Fumble”: https://www.vgr.com/madden-21-defense-hit-stick-strip-ball-force-fumble/
“Cycle through to the defender you need to cover the offensive player you want to try to hit stick. Generally, it’ll be the expected ball carrier. Press the Circle button on the PS4 or B button on the Xbox One controller to get to the defender, then line them up in front of the ball carrier.”
This tactic for forcing fumbles has had a VERY low chance of forcing fumbles in the past couple of years.
So be sure to stick to the strip fumbles.
Making It Make Sense
Let’s put the strips in perspective. Say you go for 5 strips every game for 3 games.
In AT LEAST one of those 3 games, you can stop sweating your balls off in that 14-14 ball game headed to the 3rd because the EA gods granted you one.
Compared to attempting hit sticks where you have a better chance of getting struck by lightning while simultaneously getting hit by a train before earning a hitstick fumble.
Your timing on strips will come down to your user. The user is one of Manu’s 10 key skills needed for you to be competitive forever.
Your Urgent Next Step
