How To Play Madden 23 For Beginners
How To Play Madden 23 For Beginners In 4 Steps:
- Turn defensive heat seeker assist
- Put auto-flip on
- Make sure you have ballhawk on
- Turn switch assist off
The Optimal Settings
Auto Flip Defensive Play Call:
What auto flip on does is always put the slot cornerback on the strong side of the formation. If you are playing someone running the ball a lot, you will want this feature on.
Defending the run is a numbers game so you will want the slot defender on the stronger. Versus the pass, it is beneficial to have it on for a similar reason. To defend flood concepts, it helps to have a slot cornerback on the strong side.
Defensive Ball Hawk:
BALL HAWK NEEDS TO BE ON AT ALL TIMES.This feature allows you to be several yards underneath the ball on defense and animate for an interception. Without it on, you literally have to be breathing on the receiver for an interception.
Defensive Heat Seeker Assist:
This needs to be off. With it on, the cpu will lunge towards the ball carrier for you. It is a handicap you do not want to rely on if you want to become competitive. You want to be in control of as many aspects as possible.
Defensive Switch Assist:
This needs to be off as well. Again, cpu has too much control when you switch defenders with it on.
